About the Artist
The journey of creating masterpieces began when Elise Marie could pick up a crayon and color away. Her grandfather used to sit in a big recliner chair with scrap paper and a box of crayons and draw little funny cartoon worms wearing little hats. It made her laugh and want to try to create the same character her grandfather drew.
On Sundays, after the big lunch with family her great grandmother would draw flowers, birds, trees and stick figures with her at the kitchen table. They would draw and create several little masterpieces that would get hung on the refrigerator for friends and family to see. Sometimes you would find the two of them getting really creative and practicing magic tricks, which was another one of Elise's favorite activities to do. As long as this young woman was creating some form of art, she was happy.
Her favorite education programs in school was art and music. On her free time, she would hang out at school with the art teacher learning different art techniques to help develop her painting and drawing skills. She even adventured into making pottery at one point, but the teacher thought it was best she stay away from that one after she placed a ball of wet clay on the pottery wheel and turned it on without sticking the clay down properly. As you can imagine, the wet clay went flying everywhere spattering her, her classmates and the teacher. They all giggled and thought it was the funniest, and still to this day jokes are made about her pottery class adventures.
As of now, the 33 year old paints unique pieces of artwork full of bright colors and love in hopes of bringing warmth and enchantment into other people’s lives and hearts. She especially loves painting for children. She welcomes you all to explore and admire her beautiful pieces, which will soon be available in prints for you to order and have in your own homes to add a pop of color and love to any space you desire.

"When you don't know how to say what you are feeling inside use the colors of the world to help create it. You will be surprised with the masterpieces you create from the depths of your heart."
